What a wonderful time we live in! Due to the opportunities that modern science gives us, people now can experience things no one even dreamt of a few decades ago.
For the past thousand years humanity had an incredible boost in the technological world. Every day we can witness something new being invented or something already existing being improved. Probably everyone now has at least one machine in their house.
For the last decade we could witness how informational technologies basically evolved. Information nowadays is the most valuable resource. Even modern wars today are rather informational that those that use actual destructive weapons.
Invented gadgets help us share and receive information in a blink of an eye. Due to the Internet we can talk to anyone across the world, “take a walk” in Google maps, learn about anything or anyone. I could say that these kind of technologies ease our lives a lot.
For example, there is no need any more to go to the library, desperately trying to find the book you need for your school assignment. Now you can just search it through the net and save your times as well as nerves. Isn’t that amazing?
But technologies and gadgets can also cause harm, if not used wisely. It’s a well-known fact, that cell phones and computers could cause severe addiction. So if used by kids, their use must be monitored by an adult.
But surely there are way more advantages in using modern technologies. Not to mention, that they are constantly evolving. That means that scientists are trying their best to make those flaws become a part of the past and never again be seen in the future. I could only dream about what we could have in the future!
